Watch Alice Cooper’s new minimalist video for ‘The Sound Of A’, taken from his latest album Paranormal.

The song was originally written by Cooper in 1967. Bassist Dennis Dunaway suggested the track for the Paranormal sessions. Cooper had forgotten about this song of which he had penned before releasing his debut Pretties For You.

The video shows Alice Cooper fans dress up in their hero’s make up and mime along with the man himself.  Cooper plans to release the song as a single on February 23rd, which will be issued on CD and white vinyl. He will also be releasing four previously unreleased live recordings from a concert in Ohio.
