De Puta Madre: The UK’s First Tequila Hotel Opens

August 6, 2015

Hold on to your sombreros this summer because Europe’s first Tequila Hotel opens on the shores of the Isle Of Wight.

After the success of the popular tequila bar El Patron , a new restaurant, bar and Hotel, based on the much loved Mexican drink has been launched. The Isle of Wight El Patron has been set up inside Charter House- a grade II historic building found in St Thomas’ Square. The boutique hotel will consist of six rooms, each themed around a different drink from the tequila menu with a complimentary cocktail set. In the bar area, live music and mucho tequila will be on hand to warm up the guests outside of their rooms.

Aiste Bart and Andrew Taylor are launching the hotel after opening the successful El Patron restaurant earlier this year. The décor will have the same Mexican flair and Latino inspired art work. New drinks have been concocted just for the occasion including a mango margaritas, a lychee-based drink and one for the coffee lovers. The signature Mexican street food menu will also be making its way across the shores including their incredibly more-ish Secret Guacamole.

De puta madre.
