Penetration Announce Two New Singles

The ’70s punk band have announced two new singles for their 40th anniversary.

Penetration are releasing two 7″ vinyl singles. They will feature newly recorded versions of their ’77 demos and of their own take on the Flamin Groovies’ ‘Shake Some Action’ and the Buzzcock’s ‘I Don’t Mind’. You can check out their full pledge campaign here.

The County Durham band rose to fame in 1977 with their feisty single ‘Don’t Dictate’. The were signed to Virgin who helped continue their success with their follow up single, ‘Moving Targets’ in 1978. The band went on to make two studio albums in the ’70s and one more in 2015.

The first generation punk band will feature their whole repertoire in chronoloical order on their upcoming tour, from the early demos up until their 2015 album Resolution. Find the tour dates here.
