New Music & Film Festival Comes To London
A new music and film festival is making its way to the capital. Soundscreen Festival promises to offer a blend of new music documentaries, Q&A sessions and live music in March of this year.
Uncaged, the story of Brix Smith and The Extricated, will premiere on the opening night at the 100 club followed by a live performance from the band. Also showing is two documentaries on The Kinks brothers; Ray Davies – Imaginary Man and Dave Davies – Kinkdom Come. Plus a documentary about “Britain’s angriest band” Sleaford Mods titled A Bunch Of Kunst.
There will be the opportunity to travel to LA’s bar scene through A Shot Of Whiskey– a story about the legendary Whisky A Go-Go. The bar is well known for building upon the reputations of Fleetwood Mac, Frank Zappa, The Doors and many more.
Cadiz Music, Vive Le Rock magazine and Rock & Roll Cinema are behind the new festival which takes place across a number of well-known venues in London. They include Regent Street Cinema, the 100 Club, Koko and the Genesis Cinema.
