The lost Led Zeppelin song ‘Sunshine Woman’ has been made available to stream. The song was recorded in March 1969 for Alexis Korner’s World Service show. The previously unreleased song’s original BBC tapes were thought to have been lost, but were unearthed. It is taken from an upcoming release, The Complete BBC Sessions due out September 16th.

According to The Guardian, Jimmy Page said to Mojo, “There’s no point pretending this wasn’t recorded off the radio. The song was basically made up on the spot. It was pretty brave, bearing in mind the circumstances. We played it as if we were in rehearsals, starting it around the riff and then working it out. It shows that we were evolving pretty quickly.”

The Complete BBC Sessions are available to Pre-order here.
