Hammerton Brewery are taking over the Wig & Gown pub on Holloway Road.

An Islington Brewery are taking over the Wig & Gown and are turning it their own taproom. After a long struggle to survive the rock bar has handed over the keys to Hammerton Brewery. This seems like a perfect match for the brewery who are only less than 700 metres from the bar.

According the their blog, the brewery are planning to renovate the bar for a launch in May or early June. Currently the bar will only open up on Arsenal match days prior to the renovation.
