Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie have announced that they will be releasing a new album together.

Just when you think a band is dead and aren’t going to release any new material any more, some of their members reunite and give us a sense of hope. The Fleetwood Mac stars have recorded a 10 track album and will call it Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie. Original…

The self-titled record will be released on June 9th with the new single “In My World” being released April 14th.  Though they have been working together since 2014 when McVie rejoined Fleetwood Mac, this will be the first time that the pair have worked together as a duo.

Lindsey Buckingham explained, “We were exploring a creative process and the identity of the project took on a life organically. The body of work felt like it was meant to be a duet album. We acknowledged that to each other on many occasions, and said to ourselves, ‘What took us so long?’”

“We’ve always written well together, Lindsey and I, and this has just spiralled into something really amazing that we’ve done between us.”
