New ’90s Britpop Movie: Kill Your Friends
August 25, 2015
Skins star Nicholas Hoult is back on the drugs and drinking in his new film Kill Your Friends.
Due for release in cinemas on November 6th, the film has been adapted from the popular ’08 novel by John Niven. The story follows Steve (Nicholas Hoult), an A&R man who works hard and parties harder during the ’90s Britpop explosion. Being at the top of the British music scene, Hoult’s character goes to extreme lengths to find the next Oasis or Supergrass.
The film’s soundtrack has been compiled by Junkie XL and will feature ’90s Britpop tracks from Blur, Radiohead and of course Oasis.
