Joy Division and New Order icon Peter Hook will be returning to the annual punk festival in Blackpool.

After Hook’s 2016 Rebellion performance, the event organisers thought it was a no brainer to bring the man back for another year. In 2018 we can all look forward to hearing Peter Hook & The Light perform the best of Joy Division.

“It’s a real pleasure to be returning to Rebellion Festival with The Light again,” Peter says in a statement. “Rebellion’s a tremendous event bringing together a great line up of alternative and punk bands with a very enthusiastic crowd. The reactions are always great and it attracts a real mix of people to Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, a great venue in its own right. It’s always a unique occasion and one of the highlights of the year.”

A number of other bands have already been announced for the festival already including Cockney Rejects, The Exploited, Ruts DC and more below. More acts will be announced in due course.
