One minute it was scortching hot in Bournemouth. I was drinking diet cokes and listening to my colleagues complain about how sticky they were.
The next minute, I’m sat with a chai tea in hand, listening to that same colleague complain about how they got drenched on their way to work.
I guess that’s England for you.
It’s officially Autumn in my book so I’ve been busy sourcing new Autumn vintage for Morello Boutique and I came across some Autumn outfit inspiration by the beautiful Miss Brigitte Bardot.
In the sixties, she always had this eviable Brigitte Bardot style that was super modern, French and classic. So it’s no wonder she rocked the autumn weather.
I couldn’t resist sharing my favourite looks with you. C’est la vie.

This Autumn
Leather – Bardot was fond of a lot of leather in the Autumn. Whether that be a leather coat, jacket, skirt or dress. And of course, they were always paired with some fabulous high-legged boots.
Leopard Print Coats – What should a sex kitten wear in colder weather? A leopard print coat, of course. It gives that extra meow to any outfit.
Mac Coats – A classic mac coat tied at the middle creates and reveals that hour glass shape. it helped Bardot look sexy and feel warm at the same time.
A line skirts and jumpers – The perfect layered look for Autumn. Just switch the jumper for a top when that Autumn sun shows its face.
Black wide rimmed hats – Bardot loved her hats. And what could replace her favourite summer time straw hat? It’s was a classic black hat that allowed her dark khol eyes pop from beneath them.
Turtlenecks – The quickest way to look chic without having to accesorise is a turtleneck borrowed from the beatnicks. Exceptions are always made for sunglasses.
And, of course, don’t forget the forever wild hair.
